The Tecrona coating is the ideal coating for all drilling operations that place extreme stress on the tool. It adheres very well to the tool, which causes the wear protection coating to increase the surface hardness to approx. 4200 HV. The friction value is extremely low with this coating, which increases the service life with low wear.
Application on all rail drills. The cutting edge geometry has been optimised especially for heavy cutting of railway rails and thus facilitates economic application.
RUKO core drills with Tecrona coating and carbide cutting edges are universally usable for non-hardened steels and superalloys (materials with very high alloying proportions of AL, Ti, nickel such as Inconel, Husteloy, Inox).
