For the safe and easy mounting of scaffolding on steel And wooden substructure
  • Can be used universally with façade construction screws up to 6.5 mm in diameter

  • Can also be used in conjunction with self-drilling screws (e.g. Zebra piasta screws)

  • Characteristic load values of the screw used can be found in the corresponding approval

  • Less storage space necessary, as the user can solve all common anchoring problems with just two additional parts

  • Very easy installation and removal

  • Can be reused, as the GA scaffolding anchor does not need to cut a thread in the substructure

Instructions

Installation

  • First select the optimum fastening screws for your application and substructure.

Note the height of the GA scaffolding anchor, e.g. 17 mm in this case.

  • Push the sealing washer of the façade construction screw back by approx. 20-25 mm.

  • Install the screw as usual, but only tighten enough for the sealing washer to make contact.

  • Now push the scaffolding anchor between the screw head and the sealing washer and tighten the screw until it is in contact with the scaffolding anchor. Avoid overtightening the screw to prevent damaging the sealing washer. Recommended tightening torque 3-5 Nm.

  • Finally, once you have screwed the eye nut onto the thread of the GA scaffolding anchor, you can suspend the scaffolding in the eye nut.

Removal

  • Unscrew the eye nut from the GA scaffolding anchor. If the thread sticks, you can hold the scaffolding anchor at the hexagon head with an AF 17 wrench until the eye nut is loose.

  • Now unscrew the fastening screw slightly and remove the GA scaffolding anchor.

  • You can now re-tighten or remove the screw as required.

  • The scaffolding anchor can of course be left installed if it will be needed again at a later date.
