PLA is one of the most commonly used materials for 3D printing. Ultrafuse® PLA is available in a wide range of colours. The glossy finish appeals to people who print display models or items for household use, while many appreciate the material's plant origins. When properly cooled, PLA has a high top printing speed and sharp printed corners. Combined with the low deformation of the print, it is a popular plastic for home printers, hobbyists, prototyping and schools. Ultrafuse® PLA is based on food grade raw materials (granules) which are suitable for applications involving contact with food in accordance with the EU's plastics regulation.
