Ultrafuse® PA is BASF's Ultramid® for the 3D printing world. It is based on a 6/66 grade copolyamide with medium viscosity. Ultrafuse® PA can be used to print semi-flexible thin parts, but is also very stiff in higher thicknesses. It has a lower melting temperature than PA6 and PA66, which means that it can be printed at lower temperatures and also has better impact resistance than PA6 and PA66, opening up a whole new field of applications for end users.
