Almost all securing devices from ABS Safety can be installed as system supports in safety harness systems to protect against falling. ABS Lock X anchor points equipped with a base plate can also be used if required as an intermediate support and bearer for curve elements in our ABS Lock SYS I-IV systems. In order to withstand the necessary pretensioning of the stainless steel wire ropes in cord guards, however, the curve elements and the bearers of the end terminals need to be equipped with an additional support tube. Our ABS Lock X support tube allows you to retrofit many of our anchor installations without issue.
The optional ABS Lock X support tube (dia. 42 mm) is made of weather-resistant stainless steel, like almost all ABS Safety guard rails, and is supplied with a high-quality plastic energy absorber. The support tube is available in gradually increasing lengths between 150 and 800 mm.
The additional ABS Lock X support tube is specially designed for anchoring equipment from ABS Safety with a base plate.
