The head tube of the SUPERCRAFT soft-face hammer is filled with steel shot. This causes the shot filling to follow with a delay when the impact surface hits the workpiece. The reduced rebound makes optimum use of the impact energy. This allows for very powerful impacts. In addition, working with SUPERCRAFT soft-face hammers is much safer, gentler on the joints and quieter than with ordinary steel hammers.
