The PS 22 K grinding disc in hole shape GLS 15 is triangular and has a hook-and-loop backing. It is mainly used for hand-held sanding machines with triangular abrasive discs and corresponding hook-and-loop lamination and is available in a wide variety of grit sizes. This universal abrasive is suitable for both coarse sanding and fine sanding of wood and metal.
The abrasive grain, synthetically produced corundum with semi-open scattering, is attached to the backing with a basic bond. In addition, the PS 22 K grinding disc has a size coat of synthetic resin. It ensures that the abrasive grain applied is fixed securely in place, thus guaranteeing a perfect sanding result. At the same time, the synthetic resin bond increases the service life, because it also supports the abrasive grain against lateral forces.
