Safety tested

Window glazing tested by COT Laboratorium in accordance with DIN EN ISO 11600 (building construction joint sealants).

Approval for self-cleaning glass

For sealing self-cleaning/photocatalytic glass with a titanium dioxide coating, a special MS polymer-based sealant system that is ideal for the purpose and has been tested must be used. Conventional silicone sealants can dissolve the glass coating.

Suitable for double glazing of insulating and laminated safety glass panes

Also suitable for sealing windows made from insulation glass panes.

Can be painted/compatible with paint

UV and weather-resistant

Odourless

Silicone-free

Building material class B2 according to DIN 4102

Notice
  • Due to the large number of varnish formulations, always conduct your own tests to check coating compatibility and ascertain whether the sealant can be painted over

  • Yellowing on contact with alkyd resin paints cannot be excluded

  • For best results, we recommend painting over the sealant a few days after application and after it has fully hardened

  • Not suitable for PP, PE, PC, PMMA, PTFE, neoprene, bituminous surfaces, marble and mirrors

  • Not to be used in conjunction with pre-compressed sealing tapes

Tested in accordance with DIN EN 15651 Part 1/Part 2

  • Fire behaviour: Class E

  • Stability under load: ≤ 3 mm

  • Volume loss:≤ 10%

  • Adhesion/expansion under pre-stress after immersion in water: No failure

  • Elastic recovery: ≥ 60%

  • Tensile behaviour under pre-stress at -30°C: No failure
