The drainage and protective membrane is laid loosely over finished waterproofing surfaces. The black sliding film faces the structure and the protective fleece is turned against the soil. At joints the membrane is to be overlapped by at least 10 cm. The fleece side is laid over the overlapping membrane. At edges, the membrane is to be guided approx. 15 cm further than the sealing surface and sealed against dirt ingress. The membrane can also be attached at these points. The slope must be at least 2% when laid horizontally. Contact with sharp-edged objects must be avoided.
