Overview

  • Heatbed with embedded magnets that can withstand high temperatures

  • These magnets hold the removable spring steel sheets in place

  • In terms of printing properties, the satin-finished sheet lies between the smooth and textured variants

  • The powder-coated surface with slightly textured, matt finish offers the optimum amount of adhesion, particularly when printing PLA and PETG materials

  • Fully compatible with a variety of common and less common filaments such as ABS, ASA, FlexFill 98A, polycarbonate and more

  • The vast majority of materials can be printed without a separation layer (e.g. glue)

  • Polycarbonate - prints better on satin-finished material (compared with smooth and textured sheets) - a layer of glue stick is recommended if you frequently print with PC to avoid damage to the sheet

Advantages

  • Suitable for PLA and for PETG

  • Slightly textured surface

  • Glue stick not required for PETG

  • Supports a wide range of filaments, including modern materials such as PC blend

  • Easy maintenance and good adhesion properties

Disadvantages

  • Acetone leads to quick degradation of the surface

  • A brim/skirt/shield is required around the print when printing ASA or PC blend

  • Do NOT use sharp metal objects (e.g. a spatula) to remove the print!
Notice

Warning!

Never use acetone to clean the textured, PEI powder-coated spring steel sheet! This causes microfractures in the PEI texture, which will lead to deterioration of the surface over time.
