Overview


  • Heatbed with embedded magnets that can withstand high temperatures

  • These magnets hold the removable spring steel sheets in place

  • This is ideal for printing PLA and offers excellent adhesive properties for almost all materials

  • If small marks are left on the print surface by the print nozzle or a tool, these will generally appear shinier than the rest of the sheet but will not adversely affect functionality or adhesion

Disadvantages


  • When printing PETG, do not clean with IPA beforehand

  • Release agents may be required

  • You must apply an adhesion promoter/separation layer when printing flexible materials
Notice

Tiny dots may appear on the surface of the PEI-Ultem sheet steel. These can slightly affect the underside of the finished print. However, they do not affect the reliability of the printing process in any way. We do not consider these dots a reason for a warranty claim.

Consumables such as PEI sheets (smooth, textured etc.) are excluded from the warranty as the coatings are designed to diminish over time. The warranty still applies in the case of failure due to material or manufacturing faults. Cosmetic damage including but not limited to scratches, dents, cracks and other cosmetic faults are also not covered by the warranty. Only sheets that are defective on arrival are covered by the warranty.
