Fibre-reinforced washi paper

  • Fibre reinforcement in the rice paper reduces unwanted tearing

  • Brilliantly suited for both solvent- and water-based paint systems

  • The supple material allows very precise bonding

  • Particularly fine paint edges can be achieved with no paint runs due to the very thin masking tape

High adhesive strength and residue-free

  • Excellent, high-strength adhesion due to high adhesive force

  • Suitable for most smooth, unfinished and uneven substrates due to the chosen acrylate adhesive

  • Slightly damp surfaces do not present a problem for the adhesive

  • The crepe tape has excellent wet strength, making it suitable for wet sanding

Heat- and UV-resistant

  • Also suitable for longer-term applications outdoors due to its UV resistance of up to four months

  • Heat-resistant up to +150 °C for max. one hour and therefore excellent for painting work requiring oven drying
Notice
  • The tape must be removed when dry

  • Exercise caution with paints containing zinc or zinc oxide, since residues may be left

  • On critical substrates such as parquet, laminate, linoleum or other surfaces that will be visible later, adhesive residues or substrate tearing cannot be ruled out

  • When grouting tiles with sealant, the tape must be removed before the drying process is complete as otherwise the tape will be difficult to remove

  • Not suitable for use on carbon, zinc, lead (also lead-based paint), copper, anodised metals, natural stone (marble etc.) or aged or weathered PVC
