The Klingspor SMD 612 is an indispensable accessory in applications where smooth tool running is desirable. It improves the quality of the work result by allowing the abrasive mop to rotate without vibration.
The mounting plate is installed on the shaft of the grinding machine between the abrasive mop and the locking screw. It engages in the designated groove on the metal cover found on the side of the mop. This distributes the pressure from the screw, keeps the plate securely attached and allows the mop to run smoothly.
The correct mounting plate size depends on the abrasive mop being used. The hole size is appropriate for the respective power tool.
