The curved version of the SMT 324 Extra abrasive mop disc is particularly well-suited to spot grinding work such as processing edges or welding seams. The straight version is ideal for surface grinding. The abrasive mop disc has a strong fibreglass backing plate and is equipped with aggressive, self-sharpening alumina zirconia abrasive grain. This ensures high rates of material removal and a long service life, even when processing stainless steel. It also has optimum wear behaviour, even with low contact pressure.
