The SMT 314 mop disc has a 12° curve, making it the right tool for processing smaller areas such as edges or welding seams.
Another important aspect is the tool's long service life. It reduces the tool change frequency and thereby supports efficient, fluid work processes. The type of grit used on the grinding disc also contributes to this effect. The corundum grit is a self-sharpening material. Pieces of grit break off during the grinding process, continuously revealing new sharp edges. The base of the mop disc is a fibreglass backing plate. The material is particularly strong yet sufficiently flexible to remain stable under heavy loads. It also ensures optimal power transmission to the workpiece.
