Zinc-flake coatings are chrome (VI)-free corrosion protection coatings for commercial vehicle assembly, construction machinery, agricultural vehicles and equipment, and all other areas that have corrosion protection requirements at vehicle construction level.
Corrosion resistance for ZFSH is as follows:
- Diameter ≥ M6 - 480h*
- Diameter ≥ M10 - 720h*
* Guideline values: No base metal corrosion at sites without thread in salt spray mist testing according to ISO9227 NSS
The name ZFSH has the following meaning:
Zinc flake coating, with top coat, silver colour, no lubrication that alters the friction coefficient.
Washers with a hardness of 300HV can be used for screw connections of strength classes <= 10.9/10.
