The characteristics of the CS 411 XK with its dense scatter type are perfect for rough and intermediate sanding of edges and faces on metallic surfaces. The binder made of synthetic resin, the abrasive grain made of zirconia alumina and the tear-resistant cotton backing all provide the support material with the necessary stability. This makes the CS 411 XK sanding disc suitable for both dry and wet sanding.
The abrasive zirconia alumina has been developed for a good service life in aggressive sanding processes. Zirconia alumina has a crystalline structure which ensures that individual pieces break out of the abrasive grain as it wears, creating new sharp edges.
