The SR 601 hood, the SR 500/SR 500 EX or SR 700 battery-powered fans and the approved filters form part of Sundström's ventilation-assisted breathing protection system.
The hood breathing hose is connected to the fan, which is equipped with filters. The overpressure generated in the hood prevents the ingress of particles and other foreign bodies. This equipment can be used as an alternative to filter protection in all situations where it is recommended. This particularly applies to strenuous work, long periods of work and work in high temperatures.
