Greentec Pro is a high-performance biopolymer with optimised characteristics for technical and mechanical applications. This material offers excellent temperature resistance and layer adhesion, combined with a semi-gloss surface. Greentec Pro is certified in accordance with the FDA, REACH and RoHS standards.
PLA PRO1 is an extremely versatile, robust bio-based PLA filament for professionals. It reduces the printing time (depending on the printer and object) and the strength outperforms the mechanical properties of printed ABS parts. Printer settings can be adjusted to achieve extremely high speeds or an unrivalled surface finish. Ultrafuse® PLA PRO1 has been developed as a high-speed engineering thermoplastic that is as easy to print as PLA at speeds previously considered unfeasible. Nevertheless, it has far superior mechanical properties that even surpass printed ABS objects - something that the most demanding users always had to compromise on before Ultrafuse® PLA PRO1.
It is often only possible to print complex designs with the help of temporary support structures. Ultrafuse® BVOH water-soluble support filament has been formulated to dissolve easily in water, with solubility increasing as the water temperature increases. It offers excellent compatibility with a wide range of materials: PLA, PRO1, ABS, ABS Fusion, PA and PAHT CF15. This monofilament must be stored in a sealed bag or container to prevent moisture being absorbed.
Ultrafuse® PA is BASF's Ultramid® for the 3D printing world. It is based on a 6/66 grade copolyamide with medium viscosity. Ultrafuse® PA can be used to print semi-flexible thin parts, but is very stiff in higher thicknesses. It has a lower melting temperature than PA6 and PA66, which means that it can be printed at lower temperatures and also has better impact resistance than PA6 and PA66, opening up a whole new field of applications for end users.
