PLA PRO1 is an extremely versatile, robust bio-based PLA filament for professionals. It reduces the printing time (depending on the printer and object) and the strength outperforms the mechanical properties of printed ABS parts. Printer settings can be adjusted to achieve extremely high speeds or an unrivalled surface finish. Ultrafuse® PLA PRO1 has been developed as a high-speed engineering thermoplastic that is as easy to print as PLA at speeds previously considered unfeasible. Nevertheless, it has far superior mechanical properties that even surpass printed ABS objects - something that the most demanding users always had to compromise on before Ultrafuse® PLA PRO1.

PLA filament is one of the most important materials in the field of FDM 3D printing. PLA is made from renewable raw materials such as maize starch and is therefore classed as a biocompatible plastic. Even though PLA is not as heat-resistant as other materials like ABS, it has a number of other advantages such as less warping during the printing process. PLA is an ideal entry-level filament and can be processed easily by any standard 3D printer.

Ultrafuse PET is made from high-quality PET and is just as easy to print as PLA, but much stronger. The filament has a broad operating range for printing (temperature vs. speed), allowing it to be used on any 3D printer. PET delivers excellent printing results with good layer adhesion and high resolution, and is simple to handle. Ultrafuse PET is fully recyclable, watertight and has superior colours and finishes. Ultrafuse® PET is based on food grade raw materials (granules) which are suitable for applications involving contact with food in accordance with the EU's plastics regulation. Plus, this material has been approved for food-safe 3D printing applications and meets the requirements of the LFGB and Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004.
