Application area

The reliable, easy-to-install sealing tape is used for:

  • Airtight and water-vapour-tight inner window joints.

  • Completely plastered indoor reveals in old buildings and prefabricated buildings.
Instructions

1. Remove oil, grease and any loose material from substrate.

2. On mineral and highly absorbent surfaces, we recommend using a butyl primer.

3. Pull the protective film off the butyl strip and place on the masonry such that the butyl strip is positioned behind the inner window pane; press on firmly using a press-on roller.

4. Fill foam into the joint with PURLOGIC Top or PURLOGIC Flex.

5. Pull the protective paper off the self-adhesive strip and stick to the window frame with an overhang of 10 mm to 15 mm; press on firmly using a press-on roller.

6. The sealing tape can be covered with a strip.

7. The butyl strip and the flexible tape adhesive, flexible tape adhesive plus or EPDM sealing tape adhesive must not come into contact with each other.
