For fans SR500 and SR500 EX
SR 515 ABE1 are intended for use with fan unit SR 500/SR 500 EX.
Depending on the type of filter, they protect against the following gases/vapours:
- Type A protects against organic gases and vapours, e.g. solvents with a boiling point over +65°C.
- Type B protects against inorganic gases and vapours, e.g. chlorine, hydrogen sulphide and hydrogen cyanide.
- Type E protects against acidic gases and vapours, e.g. sulphur dioxide and hydrogen fluoride.
The fan unit SR 500/SR 500 EX must always be used with two particulate filters or two combination filters, consisting of gas and particle filters.
