Ultrafuse® HiPS is a high-quality engineering thermoplastic widely used in the 3D printing industry as a support material for ABS. But this material has other properties to offer, such as good impact strength, good dimensional stability and easy post-processing. HiPS is an excellent support material for ABS, as there is good compatibility between the two materials and HiPS can be easily removed. This means it is now possible to create ABS models with complex geometries. Our HiPS can be easily post-processed with adhesive or sandpaper.
PLA PRO1 is an extremely versatile, robust bio-based PLA filament for professionals. It reduces the printing time (depending on the printer and object) and the strength outperforms the mechanical properties of printed ABS parts. Ultrafuse® Support Layer filament has been developed for use in combination with Ultrafuse® Metal filaments. When printed between the support and the object, it creates a barrier during sintering and makes it easier to separate the support from the metal part. Ultrafuse® Support Layer is not intended for printing stand-alone parts, but should be printed as a layer attached to the support structures in dual extrusion printing.
